I really feel there should be more of this kind of thing, but I'm glad I found this one! I wouldn't identify our family as extremely conservative, but the transgender stuff I keep hearing about is a hard line for us. Sally's story breaks it down nicely and understandable to younger ones, without having to deal with any sexual themes. Overall, I highly recommend to any other mommas out there looking to safeguard their kids from some of the garbage out there!

Much better than what’s out there

So questions like: Why is he dressed like a girl? and such would stop. That book unfortunately only proved to be a political novelty item. I explained things well enough to my son, but I still wanted an example he could learn from, and this book did just that.
